Picked that morning
The vegetables and herbs come from our garden, thirty steps from the kitchen. We cut them when we need them, so the menu shifts with the season.
You do the cooking
This is not a demonstration you watch. Everyone gets a board, a knife and a job, whether you cook daily or have never started from scratch.
Five people, maximum
We keep the group small on purpose, so Vasilis can stand beside each of you the whole time instead of addressing the room from the front.
THE EXPERIENCE
What actually happens in those two hours
You arrive, we give you something to eat and drink from the farm, and then you put on an apron. Together you prepare three dishes: an appetiser, a Cretan salad and a main course, chosen when you book.
Almost everything you cook with comes from here. The vegetables and herbs from our garden, the olive oil, the honey, the jam or spoon sweet that usually finds its way into one of the dishes. Nothing gets delivered in a box that morning.
Then the aprons come off and we all sit down at the same table and eat what you made. That part is not a bonus at the end. It is the reason the course exists.
